Business owners in the area have come together to form the Highland Park Retail Merchants at Six Points. The founding group has written bylaws and taken other steps necessary to become incorporated. Officers are Chairman, Martin Owens of Martins Clothing; Vice Chairman, Lloyd Price of Boaz & Ruth; Treasurer, Mike Simpson of Simpsonメs Store; Secretary, Kevin Hunter of Kevric Enterprises; Acting Assistant Secretary, Tivell Murray, a Boaz & Ruth trainee. Also on the board are Diana Lofton of Diva, Eric Hunter of Kevric Enterprises, Martha Rollins of Boaz & Ruth, Anthony Johnson of Mobile Dry Cleaners, and Gayle Scott of Stretches Sports Bar.
Highland Park Merchants at Six Points meets the third Tuesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. at Boaz & Ruth, 3030 Meadowbridge Road. All businesses, landowners, and churches or civic groups in the Meadowbridge Road/Six Points area are invited to participate. Come make a difference in our community by uniting to accomplish the vision of a safe, beautiful, thriving commercial district to complement our special Highland Park neighborhood.

The Highland Park Beautification Committee led by Eric Hunter and Dianna Lofton worked hard to put together our communityメs first Christmas decorations along the streets near Six Points--wreaths, lights, banners, a Christmas tree and reindeer. Best of all we hung two banners declaring モPeace on Earthヤ for Highland Park and for the city.A goal of HPMASP is to bring モlightヤ and beauty into what the media calls モdark.ヤ
